100 Ways to Cross the Border
A feature length performative/documentary film on and in collaboration with artist Guillermo Gòmez-Peña, and his performance troupe of 24 years, La Pocha Nostra. With a focus on the current political moment in relation to Gòmez-Peña's work on the Mexico-US border, this film brings together a lifetime of his sustained artistic and politically engaged practice. It utilizes documentary, experimental, and performative genres and archival footage, and includes original performance texts, created by Gòmez-Peña specifically for the film.
